Nokia N96 and the Good Times

I still remember that 'different Sunday' in the month of February when my father surprised me with a gift of Nokia N96 mobile phone handset. I was literally on cloud nine that day. I was so thrilled and excited that I rang up my college friends to share 'the Big news.'

Like every mobile phone user, I too wanted to own this latest technological communication marvel. I have been using this mobile phone for little over four months now.

Its 'differential appeal' from my earlier feature-lacking mobile phone lay in its integration of smart user-friendly features and compact designing that made it handy and easy to carry around. To me this high–end digital phone is not just a communication device but also a my 'best friend and companion'.

I am a highly fashion-conscious person and this new 3G Nokia N96 Smart phone is fabulously in sync with today's trendy modern tastes. This mobile handset adds loads of style with its stunning dual slide opening that works smoothly. Its large 2.8 inches QVGA TFT colour screen with a resolution of 240 pixels by 320 pixels offers an exemplary resolution. This coupled with a built in five mega pixels camera takes me to colourful and lively world of photography, video playing, video recording and video calling.

Me and my friends literally drool over this fantastic Nokia N96 handset. Together we celebrate Birthdays and other festivities by indulging in some leisurely hours of fun filled video shooting. What's more, its advanced connectivity features like 3G HSDPA, and EDGE enable me to access and surf the Internet using the WAP 2.0/xHTML and HTML browsers. This Nokia phone offers WLAN which is based on the universal plug-and-play (UPnP) technology that helps me to avail the benefits of wireless local area network within my friends group.

The again, this phone gives me the luxury of listening to some really fine music with the help of a built - in stereo FM radio (complete with RDS feature) which allows me to listen to the radio whilst viewing music information on the display. Now my holidays are filled with good times. And all of this has been possible by my father's discerning choice of this – Nokia N96 - 'the ultimate mobile phone.'
